Brother of Victim, Resident of This City, Notified

A motorist lost his life near Rimberton, Chester county. last night, when he picked up a heavy voltage wire after his automobile had crashed into an electric light pole. He was Henry Eugene Cooper, aged fifty, of Chester Springs. He is a brother of Joseph E. Cooper 824 Sterling street, Coatesville. by whom he was employed as a brush sales man. The fatal accident occurred what is known as the Pugntown road in the northern part of the county about 9.30 o'clock. Police who are investigating announced that Joseph Kirkner, Royersford, another occupant of the Cooper auto, wandered away after the mishap. The Cooper machine skidded at a sharp curve in the highway, grazed a tree and then crashed into a pole of the Chester Valley Electric Co. snapping it off near the base. The pole toppled upon the sedan,; crushing in the top.
The occupants got out of the, wrecked car. Cooper, it was apparent, took a few steps when he evidently picked up a "live" wire. He was electrocuted. His body was found some-time later by Irwin Harple, Phoenix who happened along the road. An employee of the Philadelphia Electric Company, Charles Beard,' was then summoned to the scene, He succeeded in shutting off the current, and Cooper's body was removed to the morgue in Phoenixville of Deputy Coroner F. B. Neiman where an inquest will be held this afternoon at l 2 o'clock.. News of fatality was telephoned to the man's brother. Joseph Cooper, Coatesville. early this morning. He in turn got in touch with the widow of Henry Eugene Cooper at Rising! Sun, Md.,
