    Notes:

    Alma U. Harrison, 85, formerly of 33 Glendale Dr., Lancaster, died Friday at Lancaster General Hospital, she was under the care of a physician.

    Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late William E. Urwiler and Harriet Urwiler Weaver. She worked as a clerk at the former Watt Shand downtown store. She was a longtime and active member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Willow Street where she had taught Sunday school. She was an avid doll collector, a big fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, played women's softball, swimming, and was in bowling leagues, earlier in life; enjoyed gardening, traveling around the world, decorating her house, crafts and was an excellent seamstress. She was married to Henry M. Harrison for 68 years on September 30th.

    Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Sandie H. (James A.) Munro; a son, William H. (Carol E.) Harrison, both of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren, Jamie Munro, Jeffrey Munro and Julie L. Wright and 4 great grandchildren, Justin Munro, Jordan Munro, Jaden Munro and Gareth C. Wright.

    Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Alma's Life Celebration from Ascension Lutheran Church, 600 Penn Grant Rd., Willow Street on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Steven R. Bowser officiating. Interment in Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:30-11:00 AM. Fred F. Groff, Inc. "A Life Celebration Funeral Home" is handling arrangements.
