I have little information on William Bibb and his family. Apparently all I have comes from two sources (it did include Nancy Bibb as one of 3 children):Jeri Wilson. Bibb Family Group Sheet, and Edna Franklin. Alexander & Harrison Heritage. http://members.accessus.net/~wefrank/alexharr/fowndx.htm mailto:wefrank@accessus.net. This second source may be accessible, but you will have to send me your email address (since it is hidden) for Jeri's address since I hesitate to put it up here. I have Nancy Bibb married to Robert Edwards. No dates or places.
I presume that your Farrar line includes James Bibb, son of John Bibb and Sausanna Bigger - James Bibb having married Sarah Farrar.
If this be so, I am interested in what information you have on the siblings of James Bibb. I am descended from Thomas Baldwin of Prince Edward Co., VA, and his wife, Nancy Bibb. I am having much difficulty documenting the ancestry of this Nancy Bibb. I have much circumstantial evidence that she was daughter of John Bibb and Susannah Bigger, but no reilable documentation of such.
Any help that you might be able to give me would be greatly appreciated.
William James Bigger, (1828-1880), s/o Thomas Bibb Bigger and Elizabeth Meredith Russell(1805-1875), married Matilda C. Williams in Richmond 19 March 1850. She apparently died before 1861. William enlisted as a Private in Company "F", 3rd Regiment, Richmond Local Defense Troops on 20 June 1863. Promoted Corporala on 31 August 1864, he was paroled as a Sergeant in Richmond on 18 April 1865.
After the War, he worked as a clerk.
