      David Magaw, brother of Mary Reynolds (nee Magaw), is mentioned as brother, in his sister's Will, and in the Will of his relative, John Williamson in whose will he is named Guardian of Williamson's infant children. Reference is also made to David Magaw in the will of Robert Reynolds in 1760. David Magaw is also found in the list of Landowners at Shippensberg, Cumberland County in 1763. The Will of David Magaw of Shippensburg is probated 5 Apr 1770 and was written 23 Jan of the same year.

      The following records were found in the Recorder of Deed' Office at York, Pa.:
      Whereas William Logan in Court Oct., 1758 obtained a warrant against Martha Reynolds and Samuel Perry and David Magaw, executors of the estate of Samuel Reynolds, dec., late of Marsh Creek, York County (now Adams County). The deed states that Samuel Reynolds died owing a debt of 607 pounds and the Court ordered that the said executors sell the deceased tract of land in Cumberland Township. The land was sold at public sale to Hance Hamilton. This deed dated March, 1759 is found on Page 332, Book "A".
      The following records were found in the Register of Wills' Office at York, Pa.: Samuel Reynolds died in Cumberland Township, York County (now Adams) in 1758. His will was probated here at York May 2, 1758. Names wife Marthew, daughter MaryReynolds and brothers William, James, Robert Reynolds. Mentions brother-in-law Samuel Perry and uncle David McGaw. Page 168, Book "A".
