  • Notes 
    • In her father's Will, she is Anne Waddill. Waddill is not her middle name, it is her married name. She is called Nancy, wife of William Waddill in the Chancery record naming her as heir to her brother Theo. Carter. Ann Carter is called Nancy in the 1825 Chancery Suit of her brother, Theo, naming his siblings as heirs. See attached (2) for names.

      We then presume that Anne of her father's Will is already married to Wm. Waddill in 1781; and still married to him in 1825, if indeed she is alive at the time of the Chancery.
