Description: Joseph Gravely was born in 1744 (probably in Amelia County, VA, USA), but he died in 1834 (in Leatherwood, Henry County, VA, USA) rather than 1844. His will was probated in 1734.
Could you share any/all sources of information you have on James Gravely and his family unit (please and thank you in advance if you will)? I believe I have several generations of our Gravely family line in England, but I am not able to find James Gravely in the family unit where we believe he belongs. I have not given up though because I believe he was in this family line.
How far back do you want to go with the information on this site? I can add you as a guest to the ancestry family tree that I just created proving (with official parish and county records complete with wills and more) this family line. As I mentioned, I just created this private family tree so I have not added any additional sources, rather only the primary "official" sources.
It is fine if you are not interested in going back this far because I run into that situation all the time. I just thought I would make the offer in case you are interested in seeing what I have. Please let me know.
