This is a picture of the boys of Beckham School, a one room school in operation in southern Henry Counry in the early 1900s. The school stood across the road and slightly north of Beckham Methodist Church.

Front L to R: Thomas Jefferson Eggleston (1902-1955), Joseph Sanders Hundley (1903-1990), Henry Thomas Winn (1902-1993); Back L to R: Jesse Reamey Winn (1895-1968), George Andrew Hundley (1893-1953), Harvey Edwards Winn (1899-1986), Ramey Davis Hundley (1897-1991), Alonzo Eggleston (born 1899). The Winn boys were sons of Thomas A. Winn (1859-1930) and Elizabeth "Betty" Thomasson Winn (1862-1946). The Hundley boys were sons of Joseph Taylor Hundley (1862-1949) and Mary Etta Hopkins Hundley (1863-1955). Thomas Jefferson Eggleston was the only child of Gay Thomas Eggleston (1867-1934) and Edith Delia Thomasson Eggleston (1875-1954). Jeff Eggleston and the Winn brothers were first cousins. Alonzo (Alfonso?) Eggleston was the son of and Polly A. Eggleston.
