      1. Francis "B"1 Brandon was born 1730, and died January 26, 1789 in Halifax Co., VA. He married Elinor Richmond.

      Francis "B" Brandon's will dated 9/30/1788 in Halifax Co.,Va named Elinor, his wife, as Executrix bequeathed to each son 100 or more acres of land. The daughters received slaves and furniture. Property inventory contained the name of seven slaves, various items of property, total valuation of 599 pounds, 3 shillings, and 3 pence.
