The other questions in this data are from Beverly Neises, my fellow researcher. John Vaughan and Nancy Callicott tie into the William and Fereby Vaughan line through intermarriage. John and Nancy's oldest child was named James, and if you'll notice in the above data, 4.) James had a son named James Jr., who lived in Hawkins County, TN, where John and Nancy lived later in life (now it's Hancock County, TN). The Callicotts were living close to the Nicholas Vaughan family in VA. Following this theory, John Vaughan whould probably not have been a brother to William Vaughan. Maybe a cousin, but I suspect the relationship to William (the one who married Fereby Benton) was a 2nd or third cousin, or perhaps none at all, just the same name. Since we've had little luck with William Vaughan, maybe we can pin down John Vaughan.
