I.-2-i_HENRY SCRUGGS, son of John Scruggs by his wife Judith Porter, married Ann LNU
He moved to Cumberland County where he died in
the Parish of Littleton. His will, dated April 10,
1793, and probated in Cumberland County March
24, 1794, mentions wife Ann, four children, Little
berry, Sally, Phebe, and Tabitha, his grandchil
dren the Le Seurs (their father Peter Le Seur).
French Hugenot, was born 8ber 23, 1750, son
of David Le Seur and Elizabet, his wife),
granddaughter Lucy Porter Scruggs, and her
Brother William. He appoints son, Littleberry Scruggs, and George Baskerville, sole executors.
The will is sealed, signed and delivered in presence of Ann Seay, Fleming Cayce and Sephia Golding.
