By 1807-8 a Chancery Suit ensued brought by David Carter's heirs against Jesse Walton, Executor of the Estate. It seems to be regarding board of David Carter's orphaned daughter, [who later married Mr. William Smith] and her board while living in his home for 3 years after her mother's death.
