Frank Benjamin Reynolds, Sr. Age 85 of North East, MD passed away on Thursday, March 06, 2003 at the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Mr. Reynolds was born October 28, 1917 in North East, MD to the late James Duffy Reynolds and Elizabeth Catherine Ferguson Reynolds. He was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, MD. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, served in the Maryland National Guard and he served in the Delaware National Guard retiring in 1966. Mr. Reynolds retired with 34 years of service as a butcher with the A&P stores. He was a member of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene. In addition, he was a member of the 29th Division Association, Susquehanna American Legion Post 135, Non-Commissioned Officers Association, North East Methodist Choir, Cecil County Choir and he was on the senior bowling league in Elkton and Newark. He was a former member of the Barber Shop Chorus, Susquehanna Baseball League, and the North East Town Band. Mr. Reynolds was the husband of 54 years to the late, Loyce Rose Edwards Reynolds who died on March 11, 1995. He is survived by 4 daughters, Charlotte Schulz of Collegeville, PA, Sonja Britt and Linda Roark, both of North East, MD and Jeanette Thomas of Harpers Ferry, WV; 3 sons, James Reynolds, Sr. of Perryville, MD, Mark Reynolds of Magnolia, DE and Frank B. Reynolds, Sr. of Perryville, MD; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; siblings, (twin sister) Rachel Alexander, Elmer Reynolds and Delores Letts all of North East, MD. In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Lou Scott; 3 brothers, Arthur, Henry and Charles Reynolds; 1 sister, Idella Preston and 1 daughter-in-law, Mary Helen Reynolds. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, March 9, 2003 at the Elkton Church of the Nazarene, 377 Nottingham Road, Elkton, MD. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Saturday, March 8, 2003 at CROUCH FUNERAL HOME, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD. Rev. James R. Moyers of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Interment will follow services in Boulden's Chapel Cemetery, Elkton, MD with full military honors. Carroll E. Reynolds, Sr., 86, of Christiana, passed away peacefully after a short illness, at Christiana Hospital, on Wednesday June 15th, 2016.

Born in Northeast, MD, Carroll was the son of the late Helen and Melvin Reynolds. While working for Chrysler, he met and married his wife of 65 years, Beatrice (Crossan). Shortly afterwards, he was drafted to serve his country for 2 years in the US Army.

After being honorably discharged, Carroll went in to retail, but found his calling in the hardware business where he enjoyed helping do-it-yourselfers with their home repairs, yard supplies and other such needs. During this time he purchased and operated Haverback Hardware, and later opened Reynolds Window and Screen Repairs, which he operated right up to his passing.

Carroll and Bea enjoyed traveling the country in their camper, he enjoyed singing in the church choir, but he especially enjoyed eating out.

Carroll was predeceased by his older brother Edward, and his older sisters Helen E and Grace. He is survived by his youngest sister Sherry (John), as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Bea, he is survived by his children Linda (Steve), Melvin (Joanne), David (Michelle), Carroll, Jr. (Pat), and Marie (Dan). E. Sherry Jackson, 88, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born June 2, 1931 in North East, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Lloyd and Helen Elsie Lockard Reynolds.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John H. Jackson, of Port Deposit, MD; and son, Brian K. Jackson, of Rising Sun, MD. Sherry was affiliated with the North East United Methodist Church, the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, and the Perryville United Methodist Church.
Sherry was a graduate of the North East High School, North East, MD, and had been employed by the former Bainbridge Naval Training Center in their Public Works Division during the 1950's. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Ray of Hope Mission. For many years, Sherry served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Hopewell Cemetery Association.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her brothers: Carrol Eugene Reynolds, Edward Charles Reynolds; and sisters: Helen Emma Goodnow and Grace Emily Reynolds.

U.S. Veteran
Sterling Reynolds, Jr., 92, of Elkton, MD passed away Friday, October 14, 2022. Born in Elkton on December 21, 1929, he was the son of the late Sterling and Elizabeth Hopkins Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Cecil County Board of Education, retiring after 25 years as head custodian at North East High School, where he had worked since the school opened. Mr. Reynolds enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with cars.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Alice Bowlsbey Reynolds; daughters, Donna Lee Snyder (Michael), Anita Marie Magaw (Bruce), and Patricia Ann Jones; grandchildren, Kelly Fortune, Jason Magaw, Timothy Snyder, Chris Snyder, Caitlyn Jones and Patrick Jones and great-grandchildren, Angelina Magaw, Tyler Snyder, Annabelle Snyder, and Joseph Snyder. Mr. Reynolds is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Jane Banks and Mildred Barrow.

Graveside funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Union Cemetery, 440 Union Church Road, Elkton, MD 21921.

Mildred Reynolds Barrow, age 87, of Elkton, MD, passed away on August 14, 2021. She was born on November 16, 1933 in Elkton, MD to the late Sterling R. Reynolds and Elizabeth (Hopkins) Reynolds.
Mildred enjoyed doing crafts and gardening around her house. She loved her cats, Sam, Little Bit, and Missy. Mildred always enjoyed watching a good Western movie and reading anything she could get her hands on. Mildred will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Mildred is survived by her son, Roger Reynolds and his wife, Judy; brother, Sterling Reynolds, Jr., and his wife, Alice; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Barrow; and sister, Mary Jane Banks.

Harold Richard ?Bud? Reynolds, Jr., age 88, of Chesapeake City, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Born in Chesapeake City on November 28, 1930, he was the son of the late Harold R., Sr., and Marion Payne Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He retired from the family businesses, Reynolds Rides and Amusements and Falling Star Enterprises, both in Chesapeake City. Mr. Reynolds was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Chesapeake City, where he served as an Elder. He was a lifetime member of the Outdoor Amusements Business Association and the Chesapeake City Volunteer Fire Company, where he was honored as a member of the Hall of Fame. An avid reader, he enjoyed woodworking and model trains.
Survivors include his children, Sherrie R. Fauvelle, Chesapeake City, MD, and Harold L. Reynolds, Lake Elsinore, CA; grandchildren, Robert Fauvelle, Anna Renee Tichnell, Danielle Dawkins, Ryan Reynolds, Rachel Reynolds, and Regan Reynolds; and great-grandchildren, Troy, Joey, Roman, Emma, and Bradford.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Anna Kelley Reynolds; and sisters, Sarah R. Cicconi and Mary R. Brown.
Funeral service with military honors will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will be private in Bethel Cemetery, Chesapeake City.

Elizabeth passed away Friday, June 22, 2001, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 78 years. Pauline Elizabeth Reynolds was born July 23, 1922 in North East, Maryland, the daughter of the late Chauncey and Pauline Reynolds. She received her Bachelor of Accounting degree from Beacom College in Willmington, Delaware. She had been employed by Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. She married Robert H. Severance October 11, 1947; he survives her. Mr. and Mrs. Severance then moved to Saginaw in 1949, then to Texas in 1957 where she worked with her husband in his company, Robert H. Severance Company, a machinery and cutting tool agency. They returned to Saginaw in 1985. She had been a member of First United Methodist Church, Saginaw. A son, Clifford Severance predeceased her in 1991. Surviving besides her husband are two sons and their spouses, Robert Severance Jr. and his wife Kathlyn, their sons Robert III (Amanda), James (Angela) and Scott and great-grandchildren, Robert IV and Katelyn; Kenneth Severance and his wife Susan, all of Texas; one brother George Reynolds, Maryland; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Arthur Reynolds.

Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev Dr. Haldon Ferris will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday. Betty Heisler Loveall, 83 of North East, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD, on November 24, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Willard F. and the late Hilda (Reynolds) Heisler.

Betty graduated from North East High School in 1953, and was secretary of the NEHS Alumni Association for many years, handling the mailing of the annual announcements of the reunion for all graduates.

She started working at DuPont in the Textile Fibers Department in 1960 and had 31 years of service in at her retirement in 1991. During that time, she handled the arrangements for the annual Fibers Reunion for 25 years.

Betty was a life-long member of North East United Methodist Church. She was very active in the church, serving as Church Council Secretary for many years, on the Board of Trustees and was a member of the Choir. Betty was instrumental in forming the Handbell Choir and directing it for 15 years. After she stepped down as director, she continued ringing with them for many more years.

Betty loved playing duplicate bridge, which she learned in retirement while playing with Marge Hunt. Achieving the rank of Life Master she continued playing regularly until her passing. She enjoyed bowling. She also loved to travel, visiting 49 US States, all except Hawaii, and 5 European Countries.

Survivors include her son: "Bud", William Forrest Loveall, II of Austin, TX; grandson: "Kenny", John Kenneth Heisler Loveall of Austin, TX; her sister: Nancy Leathrum (Rev. George Leathrum); a nephew: David Leathrum; and 3 great nieces: Crystal Leathrum Arenas, Audrey Leathrum and Grace Knopp.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10:00 am at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, MD, with an additional visitation beginning at 9:00 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
