      Mr. H. B. Eanes died at his home at Mt. Valley Sunday morning. Death wa s due to the infirmities of old age, he having been in declining health f or several months. He being in the neighborhood of eighty years of age. M r. Eanes was highly esteemed by all who knew him and was a Confederate s oldier, his death being a severe shock to his many friends and relative s. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nannie A. Eanes, and several sons a nd daughters, among them being Mr. J. M. Eanes of Martinsville, S. M., P . L. and H. C. of Mt. Valley.
