Off the main highway on a dirt road that requires a rugged vehicle. The graves were located in a thicket near an old crumbling house. There were other sunken graves but no headstones were seen. GPS: 36o 48?34.16?N, 79o 34?45.13?W [S46] Marriage Record/Certificate. Marriages of Pitts. Co., VA 1806 - 1830, Kathleen Williams: 10 Apr 1829. Booker Shorter and Tabitha Hubbard. Sur. George Terrell. Benjamin Terrell signs the certificate saying Tabitha is a woman that he has raised and "if she has any parents I don't know where they are."
