      The graves were located in a thicket near an old crumbling house. There were other sunken graves but no headstones were seen. GPS: 36o

      10 Apr 1829. Booker Shorter and Tabitha Hubbard. Sur. George Terrell.
      Benjamin Terrell signs the certificate saying Tabitha is a woman that he has raised and "if she has any parents I don't know where they are." John Shorter says his son, Booker, is of age. Married by the Rev. Eben Angel. p.94.
