  Mildred Carter Wilson, 80, passed away February 17, 2015 at Danville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Halifax County on February 23, 1934 to the late Charlie Eddie Carter and the late Lillian Edwards Carter. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Aubrey Carter, Sarah Carter Calvert and Charles Carter. She is survived by her brothers and sisters; Thomas Carter, Mary Ellen Carter Goss, Jack Carter, Hilda Carter Nostrandt, Jane Carter Saunders and James Carter. A funeral service will be conducted February 20, 2015 at the Swicegood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Highland Burial Park. Swicegood Funeral Home is serving the family.
