  [S37] Death Certificate, James Duffy Reynolds. [S42] Obituary. JAMES D REYNOLDS: 66, of North East, died Monday in Union Hospital Elkton after a long illness. Mr. Reynolds who had worked at the Continental Diamond Fibre Co. in Newark for more than 20 years. Had the distinction of being the oldest active member of the North East Band. He joined the old Red Men?s Band in 1901 when he was nine years old. His son Charles in now director of the band and four other sons and three grandchildren are band members. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at North East Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Franklin B Bailey officiating. Burial will be in North East Methodist Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Ferguson Reynolds; five sons, Charles R, Frank B, and Elmer W, North East, and Henry J and Arthur F, Elkton; three daughters, Mrs. Rachel E. Alexander, Mrs. Idella R Preston, and Mrs. Delores R Letts, North East; and also four brothers, Melvin, North East, Albert, Baltimore, Sterling, Elkton, and Harold, Chesapeake City. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren.
