John H. Bowles, 61, farmer and prominent citizen of Snow Creek, passed away at his home yesterday following a long illness. He is survived by his wife, eight sons, L. H., W. C., Raymond, Wilford and James of Martinsville, Frank, Giles and O. T. of Snow Creek, and one daughter, Mrs. Herman Oakes of Snow Creek. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at Mount Carmel Church.
