1708 January 28 Peter Coghill and wife Sarah of Essex County, Virginia, leased to Peter Rucker 56 acres of land on a branch of Cockleshell Creek. Peter Rucker also paid the Coghills 2000 pounds of tobacco for 56 acres they deeded to Peter's son John.
