      THE HENRY BULLETIN, Fri., May 19, 1922, p. 1, col. 5 [edited].
      Mr. Henry Clay Eanes of Mountain Valley in this county died suddenly in Martinsville at Childress' livery stable yesterday morning about 11 o'clock. He was about 45 years of age. Relatives here were notified at once of his death and the body turned over to the undertaker.
      Information of his death was also sent to his family at Mountain Valley. Mr. Eanes had come to Martinsville for treatment of rheumatic or dropsical trouble which affected his heart. A short time before his death he walked over to Childress' stable and was seated talking and laughing with his friend when suddenly he fell from his seat and on examination, it was found that he had died immediately. He had been a merchant at Mingo, but more recently engaged solely in farming. He leaves a wife, who was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Giles, and eight children. Two brothers reside here, Messrs. James and Samuel Eanes. The body was taken yesterday to his home at Mountain Valley.
