I have no record of William Thomasson (born 1734) fighting in the Revolutionary War.
I am sure that William was born in Virginia.

I believe his father was George Thomasson Sr. born 1703 in Caroline County, VA-death unknown.

George's father was Thomas Thomasson born 1746 in London, England and died in VA about 1730. (the immigrant)

This information is probably accurate but I got it from a Thomasson 2nd cousin who did the actual research and I cannot assure you that it is 100% accurate.
