Benjamin Musgrove Philpott Birth: Feb. 21, 1760 Death: 1790 Benjamin was the first child of Barton and Martha (Musgrave) Philpott. Benjamin was christened in St. Johns Parish Prince George County, Maryland and died in Frederick, Frederick County, Maryland. Buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick. Benjamin married Elizabeth Hackney in Richmond, Virginia on 25 October 1786. Benjamin's father presented a final accounting of Benjamin's estate in the court of Frederick County on the 16th of August 1793. Benjamin was the father of one child; General Horatio Philpott, born 25 Sep 1789 in Frederick, Maryland and died 11 March 1871 in Freestone County, Texas. After Benjamin's death his widow Elizabeth married Alexander Boeteler.
