  Star-Tribune (Chatham, VA) - Monday, June 29, 2009 Harry Lea Reynolds, age 79, of Chatham, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth. He was born on December 16, 1929, in Pittsylvania County, and was the son of the late Claude D. Reynolds and the late Ruth Lovelace Reynolds. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church and a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a former member of the Chatham National Guard and Board of Supervisors Callands Gretna District. Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Barbara Reynolds Reynolds. He is also survived by two sons, Gary Reynolds, and Harry Lea Reynolds, II, both of Chatham; two daughters, Lynn R. Terry of Richmond and Nora R. Horn of Idaho; one sister, Lillian R. Blanks of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister, Louise R. Adams; three brothers, R. Dudley Reynolds, Garnett Reynolds, and Dennis Reynolds. Graveside services will be conducted at Reynolds Family Cemetery on Wednesday, July 1, at 10:00 a.m. with Mr. Gary Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 30, from 7:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and at other times will be at the residence.
