      Ola Lea McSherry and Maude McSherry
      Funeral services for Mrs. Ola McSherry Kirby will be held today at 3 p. m., at the Clement Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Person Memorial Gardens at Roxboro. Mrs. Kirby, 72, died Tuesday at the Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro, N. C. She had been in declining health for six years and a patient in the hospital for five days. Mrs. Kirby, a native o£ Halifax County, was a daughter of the late Luther and Lucy Green McSherry. Most of her ]ife was spent in Roxboro, N.C., but at the time of her death she was making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Charles Thomas, in Stokesdale, N.C. Mrs. Kirby married George Kirby, who died Sept. 27, 1962. She was a member of Clement Baptist Church near Roxboro. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. William Young of Greensboro and Mrs. Charles Thomas of Stokesdale; one son, George Kirby Jr. of Carey, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Henderson of Milton, N.C., and Mrs. Grace Yeaman of Blairs; one brother, Linwood McSherry of Danville; and six grandchildren.
