There were two major Stanfield Family Lines, the Cavalier Stanfield Line of Halifax County,VA, who eventually drifted down into Person & Caswell Counties in NC, and the Quaker Stanfield Line that came to NC from Chester County,PA. Personally I descend from the Quaker Line so I would not have come across slave records in my own research. Perhaps some of the other Stanfield researchers from a different heritage might have, so I will post your query. Hopefully someone may turn up somethiing to help in your quest.
