JESSIE KING CORD The remains of Mrs. Jessie K. Cord, wife of Frank P. Cord, Jr., who died at her home in Portsmouth, Va., last Saturday, were brought to this city on Tuesday, and funeral services held from St. John's P.E. Church, conducted by the Rev. Lewis Beeman Browne; the pallbearers being, John E. Charshee, W.E. Burns, A. Lynn Baker, Dr. D. W. Hopkins, J. W. O'Nell and Frederick Lee Conours. Interment at Angel Hill. (5/4/1918)
JESSIE KING CORD:, aged 32 years, wife of Mr. Frank P. Cord, Jr., died at her home in Portsmouth, Va., on Friday of last week. besides her husband she is survived by her father., three brothers and three sisters, all of Portsmouth, Va. the husband of the deceased, Mr. Frank Pierce Cord, Jr is the son of Frank P. Cord, Sr., and the late Missouri Cord, nee Charshee, of Havre de Grace. the remains were brought to Havre de Grace Tuesday morning, and the funeral services held in St. John's Church, Rev. Lewis Beeman Brownw, officating. interment was made in the Cord lot in Angel Hill Cemetery..
