    WILLIAMSBURG - Anne Lester Hatcher, born April 22, 1916, in Macon, Ga., died April 20, 1994, in Williamsburg.

    Mrs. Hatcher was a teacher of first grade at the Toano High School 1950-1954; executive secretary to the dean of the law school at Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary, 1954-1967; a staff member of Greenwich Academy, Greenwich, Conn., 1967-1969; and executive secretary to the director of the Greenwich Library 1969-1984.

    Survivors include her husband, James Brush Hatcher; one daughter, Marcia Ryan Miles of Williamsburg; one son, Raymond Whiting Ryan Jr. of Powhatan, Va.; two sisters, Sara Lester Beck of Griffin, Ga., and Elizabeth L. McGill of Petersburg, Va.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    A graveside service at the Hickory Neck Episcopal Church will be private by family.

    Memorials may be made to the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, N.Y., 10021 or to the Hospice of Williamsburg, P.O. Box 568, Williamsburg, Va. 23187.

      surcomstance, free and undesturbed during her life or

    • To my son Jesse, 200 acres to be taken
      off the upper end of the tract where I now live.
    • The rest of this tract to be sold.

      daughter, Rebeckah and Molly, twenty shillings each from
      the sale of the above land.
    • To daughters Mary Ann
      and Sally, ten pounds each.
    • To son Avery Mustain
